    probably not supposed to do this, but... I couldn't resist.

    The exact location where I mounted the wall is Lat 40.25891, Lon 115.79382 or right in the center of this map: https://www.openstreetmap.org/#map=14/40.2589/115.7938

    Here are maps from gps track on my phone, progressively zoomed out. On the last frame you can see I started the trip from Yanqing town, Yanqing county, Beijing. Looks like about 40 KM from Yanqing. You can approach it also from the Beijing side.

    From the Yanqing side it is nice twisty roads with no traffic. just before the turn-off to Dayingpan village. Here's the turn-off sign:

    You can stop and see the wall a number of places between this sign and the village. Then the paved road ends at the end of the village and continues on a dirt track - note deep ruts in the dirt track, not really great (but passable) on a street bike. Where I got up on the wall is on a little trail that branches off of the dirt road - that trail sort of peters out as it approaches the wall, but, even with a street bike, you can drive right up.

    hehe... a friend made exactly the same pic at the same location (we want once to ride on the great wall) :-)

    Looks like you really dont need an Enduro. But to get there you push the Benelli over rough terrain.
    Last year when I was there the path was washed out knee deep.

    I know I cannot get a picture like that of my bike on the Nanjing city wall without severe financial repercussions! Looks like you had a beautiful day to ride! Blue skies!!!!

    To all members on MCM "I" am sorry, not sure if you consider yourself a Muppet, Clown or a Moron ? or all 3 by way of posting on MCM .

    You have not denied you are the same person on ADVRider that found it " so funny" that your friend (faceless rider) makes such remarks.

    Even just yesterday the (faceless rider) posted this on a forum.

    .

    I am sure most of the riders on MCM can make it out of town pass the lights??

    I suggest you clarify your issues via PN between each other and STOP spoiling this thread...

    @Bill,

    I'm sure you don't mind that I save these pictures of my old bike "Cosmo"? Really happy to see that she is in good hands! Haha

    Please continue posting such pictures.... And trips. I will share the ones from my Ducati's in Germany in future..... ;-)

    Have a good one and enjoy!
