05-05-2018, 08:01 AMHi everyone. I thought id try getting some help here as all i seem to get on Facebook is the usual "it a shit Chinese bike" or "why not buy a better bike" comment.
I bought this bike effectively for £50 as i had an old mtb laying around and sold that for 200 which went towards the 250 for this! Lol. The guy claimed it was ready for mot which i knew wouldn't be the case as its £250 lol.
So the problem i have is, it runs and rides, gears change etc. But it runs lumpy, struggles to tick over and if i rev it the revs will randomly rise and stick and won't drop. I then have to hit the kill switch or it starts smoking. Could this just be the carb need balancing? I took the carb apart, cleaned it out and put it all bk together, new fuel also. The spark plug is very sooty too. I've played with the screw on the side for the air mix but can't seem to find the screw for the fuel. Any advice would be massively appreciated. Thanks.

Spend more money next time?
For 50 UK money that's 10 packs of fags?
Sit back and ask yourself how much money do I need to spend to get a bike that runs like a new $15.000 BMW bike?

Find those free educational material related to CG125 in 'net if as http://www.motorstown.com/23127-jinlun-jl-125-y.html
Most Jinlun we talk about are powered by a twin (similar to CB125T/ CA250) machine.Last edited by humanbeing; 05-06-2018 at 11:18 AM.

05-12-2018, 05:59 AMJust an update. Failed mot on a front fork seal, an engine mount needs welding, and the lights were not functioning correctly as i found out the wiring was wrong from the guy i bought it from putting it bk together shit lol. And the horn decided not to work. It had an advisory for a missing lower engine mount bolt too! So i have a guy doing the welding, for seals and giving the carb a tune and fitting an engine mount bolt for under £100. Considering the bike only cost me £50, £13 for a choke cable and £5 for some new brake fluid its not too bad lol
