I just read the whole 99 page thread..lots to read. Im planning a bike purchase this winter to use as a commuter to work (42 miles each way all high-way) It looks like the head mod,carb, and exhaust are mods Id be going with. I have been looking at bike for a bit, this will be My first motorcycle, although I have built 3 motorized bicycles a 1950 Schwinn Panther, 1953 Schwinn Spitfire, and a 2010 Schwinn DelMar. So I am familiar with the basic operations of a motorized 2 wheeler. I saw on the CCW website a bike with a pillion pad on the rear fender, I havnt seen anyone write or say anything about riding 2-up on these bikes. I know its only a 250 but Im 130 and the old lady is 105 and It would be just for a few "sunday drives" thanks for posting all this great info.
