BTW, visiting his shop yesterday, he showed me a sizeable stack of carburetors that had all the adjustment screws & access ports factory sealed. All junked after failed attempts to unseal them. They were all pumper types, and I'm guessing all off of scooters, like the factory is making a concerted effort to prohibit altering or adjustment. Is this perhaps a mandated EPA requirement? The bobber has a reed valve carb doesn't it?
No. it has a PZ30 pumper carb which can be easily modified it needed. The new DF's seem to be coming with 105 main jets so no modification needed. Mine came with a 88 so was very lean.
