Hello everyone,I have a dong fang 250 on the way.I have ridden for many years,and have grown tired of the sport bikes,and look forward to something somewhat more comfortable.

I like the old school looks of the df 250 better than the hiest,and the kikker just seemed way to hard to tag or get a hold of one.I saw one in person and it seemed really small.The df 250 is a full size bike,bare bones....just something I look forward to puttin around town on,maybe doing a sprocket change,see how well it does on the highway,I am looking forward to some long summer days at around 70 mpg in the mountains of good ol South Carolina.


I have been looking at bikes for a few months now,and it just amazes me that there are few manufacturers that sell a barebones old school bobber like the dong fang.

It is a shame that CHINA knows what a lot of people want in the Usa,lol!!!Flippin sad.

Its not about the cost of some of these china bikes,its the style people like.

My neighbor is in deep 20,000 with a loan for his big name motorcycle,so what if he can blow by me at around 75 mph is what I am reading what the df 250 can do???

As a rider of many years,its not if you go down,its when and I have the scars to prove it,does anyone really need to go faster than 75????


He can have his 20,000 dollar loan,his bad gas mileage,loss of hearing,his bike that looks like everyone elses , I will love being blown away on my china bobber,that looks cooler than his, at 70 mpg thats PAID OFF and cost a fraction of what his did.I was thinking it would be funny to get oner of those old silver bicycle finger bells that go on the handle bars,so when he gives me shyt,I can just ring the bell and give him the finger.lol

The things you can do to this bike are endless,paint,fenders,seats and the if the engine blows,buy a new one for cheap-

I was a lurker for a while on here,and have one finally on the way,but of course I am reading that no one on this forum really has a df 250 or a bike in general till they post a pic.So as soon as I get it I will post a pic.
