Last summer I asked a friend to go riding off road as there is virtually NOWHERE here to go where I live, he mentioned a park in Guangzhou (大夫山） and asked if if was OK to bring some friends....be careful when the word "some" friends is mentioned. It was great fun, the trails were actually better than I had hoped for and some of the riders were quit skilled, except on the technical sections.

The park has like 5 sections, each about a half mile or so, some difficult uphill sections for those who are not fit and more than a few technical areas that seem to attract watchers who sit on the side and see if you can make it, sadly some of them stand right on the trail in your way. As to be expected, many do NOT follow the course directions and riders going the wrong way were a constant issue...but they seem to yield to the one going the fastest, which I guess is ok with me.
