Sorry for not getting back to you sooner Ben.

I've just been to a shop that has the CRF250. He had one there and was offering a order service from Thailand. The bikes take 5-10 days to come.

Everything was covered and he said foreigners can legally apply for the Shanghai plate for this bike. He said you can apply for it yourself or he can help you to do it, it's your call. I asked about insurance, he said he didn't know about the insurance for this bike but he can find out

Anyway, with a Shanghai Plate it sets the bike into much bigger price but hey ho if he can get the plate in my name with all the correct frame numbers etc then I am set on getting one.

I take my test next month, so I'll see what happens when I've got my license.
