Chanley,
Usually the clutch cable at the end has a little metal barrel which needs to be fit into a notch on a long arm on the engine.
Whenever posting problems, it's best to to post pics if possible. If you're new to wrenching, using and understanding the correct terminology can be confusing and difficult.
Pictures say what we can't sometimes.

The barrel thingy CC refers to is shown left of the pic - the screwthread and nut is for adjusting the clutch. The other end has a nipple and you put it into the slot on the clutch lever on the handle bar. There will probably be a knurled round nut, which is used for fine adjustment of the free play on the lever - usually about 10mm to 20mm.
If this don't help, best to post pics.'09 Huoniao (Firebird) HN125-8 motorcycle [eBay bike-in-a-box]

That is a better place for the clutch cable, on my XF125GY, the cable comes in from the other side, and goes under the exhaust header, where the cable lube could be drying out due to the exhaust heat. What motor is this pic from, is it a modification on the old routing, or is it a modification available to existing owners ?
But as to the OP, there are emergency cabling kits available on ebay, a kit which comes with outer, a good length of inner and all the terminations that are used on most bikes. Just say you got the kit, about £18, found your ideal cable length and terminations, from that, you could get a cable made up, or make your own, with soldered on cable nipples.
