I remember CrazyCarl writing about this company in his big photo takeout on the Indy Dealer Expo, including pix of Chase Bales.

This was such a pity and disaster. I was very interested of Highland motos since '90.

Apparently Chase Bales was flying the Cessna 421A when it went down. It had apparently run out of fuel and was scheduled to land at a different airport. Total distance between the Detroit airport and Tulsa is about 1000 miles and the plane has a reported range of just under 1500miles.

This is a notable loss for their families and the industry as a whole. Not too many companies out there really trying to compete with the big dogs! Let's wish them luck with moving forward.
