#1 Galaxy Motorcycles?05-09-2008, 01:39 AM
From another post was telling about Galaxy Motorcycles (http://www.galaxymotorcycle.net). They bikes (dirt/motard/farm) seem to be nice ones (125/250) and they are located not far from my place.
Is there somebody here with some knowledge/experience with this manufacturer?Ride report - Few weeks in South West China

I've honestly never heard of them. There are hundreds of motorcycle manufacturers in China and it's hard to keep track of them all.
They don't look like bad bikes though.

Hi ChinaKnight,
Congratulation to your brother . This race is awesome. Some of us want to do it next year, check this thread: http://www.mychinamoto.com/forums/showthread.php?t=234
Perhaps your brother and you can tell us about your riding adventures in Xinjiang in general and about this rally.
Regarding Galaxy Motorcycles, I'm living in ZhuHai, GuandDong and I would like to visit the factory which is not far and test these bikes. Do you have any contact here?

ChinaKnight,
I second what Brice says. We'd love to know more about your riding experiences and the Galaxy motorcycles.
How did they do in the race?

Brice 、Carl
their bike is not onsale offical in the market,
but it causes a lot arguement among the bikers, someone said it looks like a big mini...someone said the engine is just a unname one(not like old cmoto factory as JH 、Lonxin、Qinqi ...),the otherside said the rally race could tell everything
my brother was invited by galaxy company last weekend,he will write a objective ride test report after he comes back,i will post here then
The price is about:
offroad edition 10500RMB(230cc)
onroad edition 10800RMB(230cc)

The Enduro (farmer) model comes with a 17" rear wheel which is quite unusual for a full size dirt bike.
The Mx (off road) model comes with a 18" rear wheel.
Looking at your pics, this is true that the bike is not very large. Your brother seems tall, more with the body size of a westerner than the average Chinese guy.Ride report - Few weeks in South West China
