Another observation: This is the first eBike I've seen that incorporates gearing for the human-powered drive train. That's a huge advance, given that the electric motor presumably is unaffected by the gearing to the pedals. So you could be doing 30kph and still adding substantial torque/power via the highest gear. Just hope it has great brakes, and good handling in emergency stopping situations. That's where superior build is critically important And it's why eBikes remain such a threat here in China -- the quality is so poor that most eBikes running at speed are like torpedos. Think: Peter Sellers riding an A bomb in Dr Strangelove!
