That's unbelievable! I'd say you owe ZMC888 lunch and a cold adult beverage just for helping you keep your brand new bike from falling into a heap of new parts!

    cheers

Beer, wine, champagne all OK with me!

Careful with the engine to frame bolts as when you tighten them the other side will spin, so it's a two man job.

Jeesh! After reading this I think I'd better go to my mechanic and get everything tightened on my regal raptor. I only have 140km on it but it vibrates like crazy. Above 20kmph I can't see anything in the mirrors!

Also check the head tube, first two mechanics told me my bike vibrates just because it's cheap, and that's it. Had the bike for 6 months and only yesterday got the steering tight. Cut down on the vibrations alot. This new mechanic that saw the problem also forgot to tighten bolts he just loosened!
20 km/h seems way too low for you to feel any vibrations.

Where are you getting your work done? Is it in the same place where you bought it? The mechanic at the shops on Pubei ( the row of shops where they sell Regal Raptor, Suzuki, BMW, Benelli) was pretty good when I went to him. That level of vibration just sounds wrong.

Sorry, it was my mistake. I checked again today. The vibrations start at 30-35kmph. Definitely going to get everything tightened tomorrow.

Remember loctite on the treads or grease and use a socket wrench!

    Weird...

Everytime I start my DD250G-2 in the morning, and also after doing my 9h at work, it kills the engine when I pass the 1st gear for the 1st time and pushes the bike forward a little. After this it's ok, it seems to happen only if it didn't run for several hours.

    Urs does that too?

Is that a clutch problem? Slipping clutch? I'm not an expert - maybe someone can chime in. For me I find after I have ridden it, getting to neutral difficult. I just switched the foot board to a foot peg so I am going to see if this still happens. Not sure if it was the foot board inhibiting my shifting.
