My day at PIT Motors LTD and the CCW Tha Heist

Ok I was at PITMotorsLTD for a bit more than 9hrs wrenching on the bike and getting her going, from uncrating her to the first ride and everything in between. Needed to fabricate and mod a few things with the bike to get the bars and tins just right. My vertical side mount plate didnt come in yet

so we didnt cut the rear fender and shift the light... yet

Nice work G! Gotta get a clip of that gutted pipe. Jealous of the lax noise laws down there!

I spent a few (not 9!) hours with the bike yesterday as well. Pulled the wheels off and cleaned the brakes, started getting a little squeal. Sprayed everything down, lightly sanded the disk. good as new. Also tightened up a few things that worked loose. A little locktite here and there.

Put a shorty baffle in the pipe. Just perfect. Did rob some power tho. Still amazed that I can even feel a difference with just the pipe. Even with the baffle it runs stronger and is still loud and mean, just a bit refined. Definitely better than that stock scooter sound.

Purposely rode through the cops territory and yeah they looked but no probs. Last week I was pulling the clutch as I rolled by 'em. When my first kid was born I spent time and $$ cleaning up my license from teen age hot rodding - like to keep it clean now.

The rule around here is your bike don't exist without photos especially the baffled chopped muffler.

Barnone I did indeed have the front fender bikinied and the exhaust cut. Also added that kick@$$ seat. KB has tons of pics on the web of his bike looks nice with the paint job on the tank.
I liked the look of the exhaust on the Df250RTB so i did something similar. I like the chrome look to it... for now.
the Bars were a beast needed to work a few things cause they were hitting the tank took 4 hrs to get them right.
Did the valve adjustment dropped the oil and got her going. it was a great day down at PITMotors.

just a quick ride with my new handlebar Camera. its a bit noisy and I didnt get the cam to sit too tight there's a rattle from the mount

Do you know what that set the valve clearance at?
I saw a .004 feeler and that looks way off from what I thought it should be (.007)
The bike looks so much better with the mods you had done =)
I'm sure once you get the side mount plate its going to look even better o.O

Looking forward to a video with sound ... or, take an extended road trip ... to Beijing! I'd love to see one "in the raw"
