I always look in my rear view mirror when I hit the brakes but I still got hit the other day from behind (albeit by a tricycle, not a sanitation truck).

How the hell do you not see a group of 8 motorcycles in front of you?

So tragic & sad.

From experience, I've found that there is nothing quite like the sound of screeching tires behind you to send a shiver up your spine.

Yeah, that's why when I come to a stop light and there are cars, I always try to go in between them, even if I can't go all the way through. If I am the first car, I go past the stop line and into the crosswalk, even if I block people. Some people just don't "see" motorcycles. They may see us but it doesn't register in their mind.

apology for i am new having my motorcycle. just wanna know on how important the mirror is in a motorcycle?
