Pereill Welcome please let us know more about yourself. Where are you from and are you a first time rider?
Now as far as the bike There are a couple of jockey shifts that have been done but as far as the wiring through the frame i think that would be a first. there is a bike called the Vin custom that he did a flat black to it took all in all to relocate the rear light and plate, cutting the rear fender removing the front fender and wet sanding the whole bike and flat blacking it took him 6 to 8 hrs.
Kev here on the boards added a kick start to his bike. the engine has the post for it already in place. The problem is that the stock pipe will get in the way of the kick start. An aftermarket pipe will need to be put on to get it to function as intended. if you have anymore questions please feel free to ask.Gardo northern NJ/NYC

Gardo, I am from South Carolina and yes this will be my first motorcycle. I am choosing it because of the style and it has a lower seat height, because I am only 5'7. Do you have a link or anything for the Vin custom? I could not find it. And I was planning on replacing the stock pipe with a longer straight pipe anyway. I want to go for a bike that does not have wires everywhere and without all the chrome, almost looking like it shouldn't be street legal. If i didnt have to put lights or tags on it i wouldnt, i like the plain/no electronics look. Thanks for quick reply

Pereill, this is a great first bike, I have said it a 100 times and will say it 100 more I love my bike. i would also suggest doing a beginner safety course. Very much worth it.
My bad the bike is called the Vince's remix
As for the exhaust this one is out there Long pipe but Tom of WeaverRides is also doing custom exhausts
I'm 5'8" on a good day and find the Heist to be a good fit. Have you seen it in person?Gardo northern NJ/NYC

Thanks Gardo. I like Vince's bike, but might go with a little more flat black. Is he on this site? Also, thinking about doing custom exhaust myself. My shop at college has all necessary tools, just have to "measure twice and cut once" ha. Yes I have seen the bike in person, can't really say where or why because of job protection but I really liked the feel of it.

Vince is not on the site, never met the guy to be honest but i did get a chance to ride the bike. Did my first test ride on that machine and i was hooked.
Not sure of SC inspection but always keep the stock parts just in case
you do it take pics and video, love seeing stuff like thatGardo northern NJ/NYC

Gardo, will do. Now just have to find the best place to buy the bike. Looks like there is a place a couple hours away so might have to take a trip soon. Thanks for all the help. Get back to you guys when I have more info on the bike.

Gardo, I found a dealer with a 2010 Heist. He says that he is a dealer and the bike has only 75 miles on it. However, he is not listed on CCW website as a dealer in Augusta, GA. May go take a look at it soon, but kinda iffy about the situation.

pereill,
You might want to look for an older Honda Rebel or similar since you are planning such major mods. No sense spending $3k on a new bike and then butchering it.Vince
