took it out again today! put about 125 miles on it. drove the entire time with the tank cap loose so it could breathe and rode great the entire time. expecting my vented cap tomorrow or tuesday so i can ride without having to worry about gas leaking out. also going to order the magnetic drain plug, grips, mirrors, and other misc. stuff tonight. also was wondering, is anyone running a solo saddlebag on one of these? if so please post some pics. i have been pondering the idea but not sure of how it would look with the rest of the bike. unless there is another thing i can look in to for storage of simple things such as registration, insurance cards, etc. as i ride (aside from my pockets, because they can only fit so much stuff.)

Pictures of the bike, picked it up this weekend. Got it home and the battery was totally dead. Got it charged up tonight and running. Already took off kickstand kill switch and few reflectors. Does anybody know what exactly can be removed in terms of epa and random tubes that are hanging around the engine?

Hey guys,,,
I have been following this thread for a good while now and I am very pleased with the way things are looking for this bike... I live just outside of Nashville TN have been in the Military for 18 years now... I have already been down to my local dealer in Nashville to talk with them about "Tha Heist" and even got to give the bike a good once over... I must say that I am very pleased with everything that he has told me and has been very forthcoming and honest with answers to my questions... I am currently trying to talk my HH6 ( HouseHold6 aka Military for Wife ) into letting me purchase one and might be able to within the next couple of weeks...
MK2,,,
To help answer your question about a way to carry your registration,,, insurance,,, etc. you might want to look into a stash tube... It's a old school way of carrying that stuff and looks really great on a bobber... Here's a link to one : http://www.biltwellinc.com/stashtubes.php ... I hope that helps out
Gardo,,,
Keep up the good work and it's been a pleasure following all that you have done to yours and the vids you have are great ( plus I have shown them to my HH6 which has helped in my convincing her I need to pick one up )... Thank You

WK2 - Welcome to the madness and thanks, biggest seller to the HH6 are two price points, first being cost and the second is gas savings. I get anywhere from 70 - 80 mpg depending on my riding. I tend to ride aggressively
I have more vids on the way
Also I' like to thank you for your service to the U.S
Good luck on your purchaseGardo northern NJ/NYC

Gardo,,,
Thank You for the Welcome and also Thank You for your Support
I brought a brochure home from the dealer and laid it all out on the table for her including the CCW webby and your Vids... I also showed her the saving in gas ( as opposed to my 2006 Hummer H3 ) seeing how I only live 7 miles from work ... She said she would have to think it over for the next few weeks... I will send the kids down to my parents,,, take her out to a nice dinner and just somehow end the journey at the Dealership to let her look it over and ask some of her own questions...
Thank You once again
