02-26-2011, 07:22 AMAll,
New member Dewsnap and I just dropped by a nice bike shop in Jing'an District that sells Yammies and Hondas, and we saw a nice new addition to the world of Chinabikes -- the Honda WH150-2, which is actually labeled 150RR. Very nice looking little air-cooled single, with a small front fairing. Looks like good quality.
It's made in Guangzhou by Wuyang Honda, and is on the market for about 13000 rmb here in Shanghai.
Anyone know anything about this bike? I'm getting a lot of hits in the China forums, but nothing in MCM or anywhere else in English.
Looks like a nice starter bike. Stupidly, I took shots of the outside of the shop, and of the amazingly nice repair shop, but not of the bike itself.
The repair shop is almost worth worth a separate thread, given its immaculate condition.

Or here on MCM, but my pictures are in English
Very nice looking bike, shame that they didn't make a 250cc version, probably would have bought one.
Cheers!

Just a quick question about engines, I like the balanced engine on my Kinlon but only know that it is 'better' because others complain of vibration in the non-balanced types. Is it such a big thing when so many new models don't have the balance bit? Or are they balanced in other ways?

That's it! Thanks ChinaV. I knew that 150RR looked familiar today. The old Fighter Hawk.
In the dealers today the Honda 150RR was right next to the Yamaha YBR250, and i was suprised by how similar they both looked, there was little to no difference in size and weight. Could be a tasty option for someone fancying the YBR250 but can't quite stretch to 25k.

HEY EVERYONE I AM NEW TO CHINA MOTO
But i have been keeping an eye out on this good website to see whats on the market .
Currently i have a Zongshen ZS 150 trail bike and love it very much, unfortunatly i live in Guilin and its mostly Mountains around here and nowhere to play, lol, so i drive around the countryside hoping to see a spare bit of ground to run about on, did find a mountain which was getting dug away but was 17 klms from where i live so play was short as the petrol tank only holds a small amount of petrol, boo hoo, so now i have decided to buy another bike which is the topic of this thread, i pick it up on saturday the 26th june, its already been modified with a new exhaust and other shiny bits (lol) and a scoop on the bottom of the engine, as soon as i get some pics i will post them, but here is my Trail bike at th moment, oops cant, i forgot how this works to upload an image lol, its been a while, last time i used something like this was photobucket and i cant remember that lol. so bear with me until i suss it out or some kind person helps me to remember , cheers Robeta
