Adjusted the shit out of the screw for the ac pump and its going better, it wasn't being depressed before. Now I need to get the front tire seated on the rim correctly and I might hit 70. If I can get a part number for the pilot jet, bump the main up a bit more, this thing will get beastly.

Hey guys just registered. I saw the Heist last week for the first time, after walking into Scoots4u down the block from My home. WOW! That is exactly what Im looking for right now! I plan on picking one up later this week! I plan on buying 2 and basically financing My buddy. However the owner quoted Me an OTD (plates and all) cash price of $3,763.15, each! That just seems a little steep to Me! I also would like to right away do the upgraded carb, short pipe, and Head mods. Any suggestions where I should buy?? Is that price about right?? If I can get it cheaper elsewhere that would be great, or get it ordered with the Mods I listed, if thats possible???? Any/all help will be appreciated.

That's about 200 cheaper than I paid. And I had actual cash.

A general rule is to add $200 for every $1000 a bike cost to get the actual out the door price. That does not include insurance.

Don't jump to buy right away unless you are sure about the deal. One thing you can do about the price is locate several dealers who carry the bike. CCW's website has a dealer locator. Get them to quote some prices. If any quote is lower than your local dealer then ask him to beat it. If they want your business they will deal, or you could play several dealers against each other for the lowest price.

I only got riding in yesterday, but it was nice to get out. I'm at about 1100km on tha heist now, it's really starting to feel nice and broke in, seems to run great now *knocks on wood*. I'm not sure if I'm just getting used to the bike and riding in general or if it's getting outside of the break-in period, but it's just a joy to ride right now. We have a golf outting at the firm on Thursday and the weather looks to be good Thur. and Fri. this week, so I'm hoping I can ride it in to work twice this week (since I won't have to suit up on those days).

Wanting to start customizing further, but I've got a honeymoon here at the end of the month, it'll have to wait until after (if I have any funds left)

Hey IT guy maybe I misread but can you explain further? - was that quote for if you were to buy 2 Heists? I'm heading up to scoots4u this weekend to possibly seal the deal on a Heist myself.

When I bought mine back in April, it was $3981.00 out the door, that took care of all taxes and fees. If you do go to him, just remember he doesn't pressure a sale, you'll have to actually hunt him down a bit. He was nice enough on the couple times I've had to call him about a problem though.

Yeah I too am paying cash, it would be $7526.30 for two out the door. He seems Very nice and ZERO pressure, However if I can order one already modded, I would prefer to go that route. Thanks for all the replies. I cant wait to get My heist!!!

Lewnor - good info much appreciated. ITRguy - thanks for clarifying. Looks like scoots4u will be needing to order more than 1 heist at a time. I corresponded with Brett at PIT Motors and they can do mods at the distribution level. You would need Bob to talk with Brett then for what you want and for pricing, that's if you intend to go through scoots4u. I would ask if what you want to have done would still keep the bike under warranty as well.
