09-04-2008, 11:54 AMas far as parts go, does anyone know what interchanges, the one i just bought yesterday is the 200, seems to be same as the honda XL185, but what about brakes, rear shock, fork seals & bushings... anyone know what can swap out???
i'm in missouri USA, seems to be no shineray anything here..

Wish better news was around but Shineray isn't very well established in the US although they seem to offer a promising line of products.
Would love to hear more about what model you got, where you got it and how much it cost. This may be valuable new info for a lot of people!

i bought it used, it's a 2004, i just ordered a 35 tooth rear sprocket for it today from my local yamaha dealer. i picked it up for $700 USD, was really clean, not a scuff, they used it to get their mail on... i've found a line up for parts for most everything but the tank shrouds, rear fender & taillight lense... still seems to be quite a bit available for the old XL185 here in aftermarket stuff,
gonna pick me up an XL185 valve cover so i can adjust the valves without taking the entire valve cover off..
