BellaCorse, your suggestion worked. Now does anyone have a suggestion on how to get the fuel stains off the gas tank?

yeah I guess you could say Urban Houston, I am on the West side of what we call the Beltway...I plan I using it as a daily rider..I have at the moment a Titan 150cc scooter and it is time for an upgrade. i have over 26,000 miles on my scooter since it was purchase in 2008. I will be looking at this post for a while studying everyones mods, and apps..I have never owned a motorcycle before, and it took me a while to figure out my scooter when i ran into some mechanical issues, but I think I have a knack for it being a chevy gearhead.

They're listed as CARB compliant because the bike presented for testing passed the test. The bike released to the public are not identical and it will eventually catch up to manufactures. They do leave the air injection equipment in place to help with exhaust emissions.

    guys
Here are some pics of the original seat showing the offset. I installed a leather seat on the existing frame. it is still offset as you can see. The frame is not square, it is noticeable when the seat is removed. I had to add an aluminum plate(quick and dirty fix) to make the leather seat mount on the existing frame so i moved it over as best i could. I will probably take this frame and reweld it to work with the leather seat and make it square. Hopefully the new frame they are sending will be correct and the orig. seat will be square on the bike. It will be easy to swap out with just 2 bolts(frame and shock). Trying some different looks, this cross-stitch leather seat is kinda old school -- indian/triumph. Just having fun with an inexpensive toy. Also put in the nickel plate 100 main jet and a NGK plug. Makes a difference on top end, i didn't mess with the needle height as it seems to be fine right now. So far so good.
    take care
