New to the post but I am sure there will be many warm welcomes as I have read for all new members! I have had my Heist for a almost two weeks now and I am not sure how i survived without a bike! Plain and simple this thing is a total blast and conversation piece everywhere you go. Gardo a personal thank you to you because it was your bike and especially the dream weaver bikes that made me take the plunge. I purchased my bike at State 8 in cleveland as others have and was very pleased. Needless to say between my contact with Weaver and Scott it is unbelievable customer service. I have the carb mod, exhaust mod, putting on drag bars and LEDs tonight or tomorrow, and debating on removing the front fender. I do need to disconnect the kickstand kill switch...... ?????? I am not mechanically inclined but I have been learning everyday. I even did my first oil change today. The Dream Weaver has his new air ride seat in production and will hopefully be shipped to me this week as well. I honestly can not say enough positive remarks about CCW and all parties involved. Totally Blows my mind and I will continue to support them! Any heist riders in Ohio I would like to have a call to arms and meeting of the heist soldiers if possible at Vintage Bike Days at Mid Ohio Race course in Lexington, Ohio. I have been in contact with Scott as well and I know he does not miss the event. Maybe some of us could meet up!

Luckily brake line and speedo cable are clear. Put a zip tie round the brake line and moved that chrome thing the speedo goes through so its as far away from the tire as possible.

Just a thought because Blue Loctite can only go so far and Red Locktite is no-no unless you want to use a cutting torch to get the nut back off...

Already in the works WK2 heading down on Sat with the bike to get that all squared away. I will be taking Pics to document the process. Al had ordered a wire kit as well when i spoke to him last night.

Welcome Irish! Sounds like you got a solid start.

What's up guys? Anyone doing anything new and fresh on their whips? Guess I oughta join "tha 'book" to see whats going down in Heist town.

I been working on this forever. Love it in my head, just not feeling it on the bike.

I'll get some pics with it on the bike. Seriously, I polish it, unpolish it, mock it up long, then short, then polish it again. I just can't get on the same page once it's laying on the tire.

Thanks for the warm welcome guys! Just installed black drag bars last night and put on some white 3/4 inch stripes down the tank and rear fender to see if I want to have some painted on in the future and it looks sweet! Replaced the stock mirrors with an old school clamp on 3" round under the grip type mirror. Bars, stripes, and mirror clean it up real nice and gives it the old school look a bit! Today's project is some LED signals to even clean up the bike more and make it more slim line! This may be interesting for me due to my lack of experience but as all of you have said this it the bike to learn with right? LOL I will let you know how it turns out! The Dream Weaver hooked me up with some "Wheat Bulbs" to use instead of resistors for the signals so we will see how easy it is today! I am also excited about getting my newly design Air Ride seat from the Dream as well. He is producing a Air Ride Seat himself and mine hopefully gets shipped today or tomorrow. City streets are killing me on the mountain bike shocks. Looking for info on disconnecting the kickstand kill switch?? Do you just cut the wires attached or just one or what do you do? I really want to get that disconnected as many of you have.

Thanks and Keep on riding on!

No cutting needed it is a plug.just unplug the connector at the kickstand. Took me a min to figure it out when I did it. :)

showing my ignorance, as i looked under the bike at the kickstand i saw the wires running into the plastic mechanism and tried to pull at the base of the wires where it is rubber and looks like it connects.....Needless to say, NO GO! Once again non mechanically inclined! I will keep trying different ways of unplugging things at the kickstand. Thanks for the reply MK2... happened to notice your from Ohio as well! Vintage Bike days in Lexington next weekend?
