Gardo, WOW that thing looks quick off the start and some great torque! Bad !@# Those two guys are awesome and keep doing great work. Before long that 250 will be pulling like a 600. LOL Great work and keep it up man. I have the dream's carb, exhaust, soon air ride, and now badly want to increase the torque like you have... What all did you get done? I know next winter i will be sending my tank and fendors off to get painted opposite of the dreams new white one with the apes. I am going to find out quotes on paint job but also some engine work like you did for that HP and torque. Nice vids and bike.

Tom usually will do up another head to send out in exchange for the stock head. as for the numbers, not sure. its his secrets so i didn't pry but I will tell you this it pulls like a demon and sounds great.

gotcha man. another question. how much does the decked head cost? if you know. i've been to his site but last i checked it only had an address and phone number on it. unfortunately i haven't been able to call him about stuff yet. thanks for the help! the reason i ask about how much he takes off is, i have a buddy that owns an engine shop and i could take it there for a fraction of anywhere else, but i respect people keeping there stuff to themselves, gotta make a living! :)

Just wanted to check in and say hi to the folks, welcome to the new guys as well, hope you guys have fun with your new toys.

I'm still out riding as much as I can (got about 1200 miles on so far). I'd take it out everyday if I could, but with a young kid, work, etc it's tough. I did ride out to a buddy's ball game saturday to do a photoshoot for him. I love reading about everyone's mods and the shared knowledge, it's pretty fantastic the community that's buildling around these bikes.

    Happy riding Heisters!

Ok not to be a D***, but WOW $550 to get the head done?? I pay about the same for getting a Deck, and mild port&polish on a dual cam 4cyl Honda head. I dont know what He is doing to these heads to justify that kind of cheddar, but more power to Him! Im gonna bring My head to a local machine Guru and see what He says, Im betting He charges less than half. Sorry for the rant.

Ok so look at it this way, He's the Guru. The guy gets the decking, porting, and polishing done and pays his cost to have it taken care of. Then he takes a few to get the bike tuned and put back together so there is a labor charge associated, not to forget that there is a newly done up carb that went with the package.
He has done a few and knows all the tolerances and thicknesses to cut, best yet is that he covers his work. To me that is more than worth the price. Yes cheaper is nice but sometimes you get what you pay for.

Basically I trust him with my scoot and anyone here can attest that has spoken with Tom he will go out of his way to help a guy out. More than worth the cost.

Tom and everyone I have spoken with seem very cool, I however prefer to do all work Myself, other than machining. Im excited to see what We can come up with after talking to My machine guy, Ill keep You posted. So far I put a washer under the needle, installed a 105 jet, chopped and wrapped the pipe, removed all emissions stuff and installed new Signal/marker lights!
