itrguy - i should have mentioned it but the item description says it won't clear the stock exhaust so you may want to contact CCW if you're not running an aftermarket pipe. sorry for not putting that in my original reply.

I need to change my oil tomorrow. Should I go with 10w-40 or 20w-50? Don't know that I'm down with $16 for a quart of Royal Purple but they're info on advanceautoparts.com says 10w-40 is good for liquid cooled engines and 20w-50 is good for air cooled so I'm guessing another mfg's 20w-50 would work. I'm a little confused though because other mfg's state that 20w-50 is for v-twins. Any thoughts?

SDM, if you can wait a few more days I would get ahold of the Dream Weaver and use what he recommends. It is made strictly for engines like ours and as long as you keep your receipts for each oil change if something goes wrong with the engine they will cover it. When talking to the dream he convinced me and it is not expensive especially one quart. Just my two cents...:) Give him a call and put your order in man. You wont be disappointed and it is like having an extended warranty! 609 444 8262 If you dont talk to tom directly Bernadette will be able to take the order. She is a sweetheart. Good luck man.
Question to you... do you know if the kickstart will clear the weaver exhaust?
Keep on riding on!

use a 10w30 on the Bike BelRay, B&G shear power if you can find it or Royal Purple is also real good but remember that the oil has to be rated for wet clutch application
Irish thats the B&G Sheer power, its what i use religiously just under 5000km on the bike and 7 oil changes over the last 12 weeks. the Weaver custon exhaust or the modded stock that weaver does? if its the Modded Weaver Stock the kick will not clearGardo northern NJ/NYC

Yo CPN! you should post up a pic of your lever! Seems like it's the one that fits the best.
Is this the same as the CCW lever? Sure looks like it. If so, won't even completely clear the G&D. bummer.
