The version offered for North America suspension is too stiff because the manager at Bennche insisted the factory stiffen it based on the average American males weight? Somebody should have told him that anyone over 200lbs would not consider the bike anyway and an average means half the people are under that and those are actually your customers…DUH!
Then the guy who won the bike in the contest, seems mechanically inclined but he does not get gearing though.
The first gear change he made was odd, altering the ratio from stock by 23%
That change would also alter any RPM by an equal percentage at any stock steady speed in any given gear
For example say that the bikes stock RPM was 6500 at 55mph his alteration would change that to 55mph at 7,995 rpm.
He geared it so tall it limited his top speed dramatically. Is there a single stock bike of any type geared that tall 3.70? It was 2.85 stock and likely optimal for that bike.
The brake vibration was resolved the factory identified the defect and offers a replacement, in realty that comes off as a dodge of a recall.
The bikes launch was a hurry up and fail, the contest winner spent time on it for really nothing, he altered it but for what reason? He wanted to hit the rev limit in every gear as fast as possible? He machined parts to change the gear and a simple calculation would have showed he would red line too soon, but he never even base lined the rpm and steady speeds before getting out the tools?
