Hi, if you use facebook, search for us under groups. We think of ourselves as people who ride in China, not really as riders of Chinese bikes. All are welcome, please leave any links or threads we might find interesting on our 'wall'.
We ride road bikes between 125 and 250cc and have 25 members, not all of us ride, some just pillion, and go for a ride in the country.
Places we like to go.

Sounds like you might need a dual-sport for the winter season!

Many of the other members like to ride 250 cruisers, don't ask me why! To heavy IMO
I'll try to convince them, that with the power to weight on a motard/or dirt bike they'll accelerate heaps quicker, and have more fun too!

I have never understood the interest in cruisers either, so slow and heavy... I prefer the agility with a lighter dual purpse or motard...
and as for style, only other cruiser-clowns like the look, and they certainly don't look that good in my rear view mirror.---------------------------------------------------

Just seems people have an obsession with the cruiser style, from watching too many movies set in Arizona and California. If I was a bad boy retro, I'd have a Norton or Triumph, or try to buy something in that style.
The materials that are used to make modern sport/motard/dirt bikes, the rake they have, the wheel size, wheelbase, etc aren't dumb luck, they having been evolving for years.

Cruisers are great if the roads are good. Comfortable riding position, nice wide saddle and low center of gravity. Not a whole lot of real performance riding but just nice clean, relaxing fun. I guess it's all about choices!
