07-20-2011, 06:33 AMThanks for the post. Perhaos we'll find an actuial impartial review of one of these bikes soon. So far we've only had anecdotal reports of them being very unreliable.

If you meant this pic, he was not idiot. The bike had itself self-test for split second, when ignition key turned on.

If you are referring to some of the videos where guys are performing lots of tricks, then those bikes have special large sprockets to help them perform such tricks. The standard bike from dealers has a much smaller/standard looking rear sprocket. The CF650NK can easily hit 200km/h and then some... and is pretty quick at getting there too.

The bike is copy of a Kawasaki ER-6N, which was offered in the USA up till 2010.

That is a matter for the executives of both companies, how that came about.
The two models may not look identical, but the frame and engine are the same.

I wish that the Chinese would publish details on specific model sales, it would benefit the industry and dispel the mythical perceptions of what the people actually want….
What is approved for sale and by region as in approved actual specific geographic regions and then the actual real production numbers and subsequent distributions.
Pretty simple, it only requires a database and in that database the units get tagged with certificate ID numbers and then location codes.
Regulations can create jobs, they can create good jobs if they are smart regulations that require technology and knowledgeable people to manage them.
Legally approved for sale models and as they are produced and carry location tags, then anyone can find them. Even the final sale would have a location tag and in that legislators can see how many are on the road and even in that see how many are involved or not in any accidents or related violations.Last edited by MJH; 11-07-2011 at 01:53 AM.
