I wonder if Jinan tells Beta that they will also be selling the GS250 series bikes to Mondial?
I see common models across the Argentinean brands. I also see price wars in that and typical flooded market outcomes as a result.
Mondial is not advertising any of the GS250 Jinan bikes on its website, it has a Rato 250 though.
Mondial RD 250 R
selling for about $3,300.00 USD or 14,200 pesos.
Mondial Argentina added the Jinan Qingqi 250 to its line as the VD 250 P, catchy name.
Mondial also sells in Turkey as well as Argentina? They share no obvious models?
Argentina may not have trademark laws or they may not respect the laws of other countries on trade-names, I have to wonder since they offer brand names that seem like black sheeps.Last edited by MJH; 05-26-2013 at 08:19 AM.

Zanella is the Argentinean distributor for Keeway.
Keeway is growing into a international brand, they are also offered in Chile.
They offer an interesting model they call the Superlight 200.
Also a respectable dual sport TXM200
These above models are being offered from Qianjiang Motors,Last edited by MJH; 04-06-2013 at 04:47 AM.

11-10-2011, 06:24 AMGreat sleuthing as usual, MJH! Keep it coming.
It would also be useful to know in detail what Jialing is doing in various regions outside of China. I've noted recently that their website is now available in French, Spanish and Arabic as well as Chinese and English, indicating a strong focus on Francophone Africa and the Middle East as well as Latin America. For reasons you can perhaps surmise from other threads, many of us would love to know where, if anywhere, they are launching the JH600 apart from Brazil.
Best thanks!jkp
Shanghai
2010 JH600 "Merkin Muffley" (in Shanghai)
2000 KLR650 "Feezer Ablanalp" (in California)

Jialings exports shrank (-14%) first half of 2011, so likely not very much.

In the USA you can easily pick up a cheap Chinese Enduro, they sell for about $1,300.00.
I have always thought they could remake one of those to something more interesting.
The Gilera Sahel is just that.

Gilera offers the version of the Jincheng as its YI-275, They should have named it the YTF-275

And Jincheng.... excuse me - Gilera, looks more rafined than Beemer.
Turkish brand Mondial (not associated with the eponymous Italian company) sells this bike labeled 250 MCT. Spoked wheels, IMO, make this bike more charming.
Ask me nothing - I DO NOT speak english. Really...
