Hey Gardo, after reading all 125 pages, There is a lot of good stuff here, CCW, Weaver and the Heist Riders sites. How about talking to Weaver about showing us Dongfang riders some love too!

Cool idea. I would totally buy a Weaver-prepped RTB250 to park alongside a Weaver-prepped Heist.

Alleykat, if you're really serious, why not just ring up the Weave fer yerself, dood? The worst he can do is simply say no.

Do you have an "emergency plan" to rescue tha Widow ? (bad weather/snow, north of Mason Dixon line) We all know how the month of March can turn on us.

I would have a back up plan called: smallest U-Haul truck with ramp, to transport the both of you,if condition warrant... GOOD LUCK and enjoy the trip !

No this is a straight run no chase vehicle at all, My buddy Pete finally conformed that he will be riding with me. I am an AMA member though and my insurance also covers towing and stuff. Thanks for the well wishes

Tom Weaver just told me he can do mid-controls for Tha Heist without any problems at all, guys. They may necessitate a custom fabricated high or very low mount exhaust, however.

Gun Rod, way cool RTB250! Best I've seen. How 'bout some mo' info, like:

Is that a Biltwell seat? What kind of petrol tank? Handlebar specs? Quality control issues so far? Etc, etc.

What I'd like to put next to a Heist is a Weaver Rides modified DF that's had all its China-bike quality control issues with wiring and bolts and other junk fixed. I trust Tom Weaver's work almost implicitly, so unless he's worked his juju on one I don't think I'd ever buy a China-bike until they've reached Korean, Taiwanese, or Japanese quality standards.

I spent the day with Tom down at the shop working on a few bikes and getting the Widow ready for the ride. For those that dont know i will be riding to daytona on friday on my Weaver Modded heist. Tom and i have spent the last year working, and reworking my lil darlin. After today's rumble in the shop the Widow has evolved yet again. Will post pics later this week
