    Dear SilveradoSS,

Warm welcome to the forum. If you've read through this thread, I can say with confidence that you now know about as much as anyone on the planet about the Yingang, at least in English, given ChinaV's unrivaled credentials in motorcycling expertise, especially with Chinabikes. I'll let a little air out of the Yingang's reputation by noting, on very reliable sourcing, that ChinaV recently unloaded the Yingang after clocking probably 15-20k km in commute miles in the half-year since he got it. This doesn't mean it's an inferior bike; it's far more likely to mean that ChinaV, too, likes to keep his bike collection fresh.

Many in this forum will appreciate the philosophical depth and philological wisdom in the following statement:

this thread in Chinese has more information about the upcoming GuoIII model.
    some pics

noticed the old tech carburetor is finally gone. I see no drain bowl and pipe connected to.

Some guy on that same forum having trip to Tibxxt, his guoII bike battery had losing charged--end up because of bad electronics. I also asked some specific questions like the air pot filter, no response in their discussion group. Plus what ChinaV's ok experience, so I have concluded I should put YG on hold... I can't trust her for long distance touring. The last thing I want was pushing bike looking for services at nowhere.

euphonius, thanks for the welcome! I found this forum and have been lurking in the background ever since I first saw this bike on the internet. Found the forum while googling YG250NF. Alot of good reading here. It seems the forum regarding street bikes as of late has been kind of slow. I would love to take a stab at owning one of these, but alas the wifey won't hear of it. It is also a little above my price point. I gave $1200 for the Baja Phoenix that I currently have. Don't feel as much anxiety over this price point. I'm a little in the dog house due to the current bike only having 8 miles and I'm already into it for a new starter at $80. Although, I must admit that the design problems are part of the draw for me. Does that make me strange?????

Wow it looks cool….I doubt they have a pod filter on an EFI.
I would think it has a better configuration for that now?

It needs a very good engineer, they are on a fast track YG and they need to get the bugs out of it.

The first model the one being sold in the US will suck oil out of the crank case into the “air box” they offered a bulletin telling purchasers to remove the rubber hose that connects the two.

The bike needs baby sitting, it is actually being tested by consumers and in that they need assurance that they will get bulletins and solutions. Known problems with know fixes and then they need to implement those into production.

Hey if you want fast that is how you will get it…..and inexpensive.

If they can get those to the USA and with out the bugs and for under $3,000.00 delivered that bike could sell out fast.

    Version one…version two….and the differences?

The thing is that if they find problems then they should send out the fixes to all those that bought them. That would cost but it would get them noticed and respected.

Does not matter where you are in china, Africa, Europe they should know every owner of that model.
That bike has some promise its different and could become the bike that gets them noticed.
