Wonjan seems to have a distributor in Austrailai for it 250cc v-twin chopper.

Torino motorcycles is offering the WJ250-V as their La Bora 250cc, for the princely price of $5,995.00 AUS on the road price.

Wonjan is and has been offering the WJ250-V in its Alibaba catalog for some time, there they claim an EPA certificate, it is not on the list of EPA approved models for 2012.

Wonjans production is up 56.13% for the first 6 moths of 2012, they manufactured just about 100k unit in that period, Wonjan exported 32% of that production, but still only ranked 37th in the list of Top 50 exporters in volume.

Wonjan has a high potential for specialization as an OEM, they are well connected owned in part by Suzuki, Grand River Group and South China Group.

Wonjan is the manufactures of the GN250 Suzuki, the engine is now available with EFI to meet Chinese vehicle emission standards. It can be configured in a few models types.

    This is one…

This bike is actually a creation of custom design house in Japan, I thought it ironic the “W” emblem and all.

I apologize for not apologizing how to tell people to run their businesses, in that if I was king for day then I would get to Japan and hire some of these designers, set them up in the ranks of well-off and over paid in China, they certainly can be bought and they have the talent.

The proto-type is for sale in Japan if anyone is interested.

Entry level bikes that meet all the Chinese emissions and can be marketed internationally.
The VX250, CMX250 and GN250 engines are between 18-20hp and meet the entry level market requirements.

The CMX250 is available in a 320cc form and comes in this style bikes.

So if you have international distribution systems then it seems logical to embrace the best offerings the of collective Chinese manufactures and under one common system to share the cost and benefit through the aggregation of purchasing.

Basically all these small distributors should form a cooperative and buy their inventory collectively from the manufactures. They should consider selling them under the manufactures brands when possible. They should relegate their own business names to that of regional distributions and negotiate contractual rights to sell within the aggregated purchasing group they form.

If you live in China and are Chinese and want one of these motorcycles, then you may be able to own one and also get a $600.00 rebate from the Chinese government. Based on where you live….Logic would say that any dealership in china would be selling lots of scooters and step threw models and also 125/150cc standards but they should also have these models and these all should be EFI and the same models should be exported in the same form to other international markets.

I believe that most dealerships in china are not buying direct from the factories, they are likely buying through aggregate buyers (wholesalers) a network of dealers in china would be beneficial. That being the wholesalers feeding them inventory aligned with the same system feeding inventory to foreign markets. In that if done correctly they would benefit in being able to aggregate the buying of the better models and insure the supply is constant and available to all in all markets.

Having these better models in an international form, that being meeting the highest emission standards of all global markets benefits on costs control through economy of scale. That would be because the ordering through one common collective can keep the factory line running consistently and even predictably.

As you move up the food chain, that being as bikes get bigger and more advanced they cater to a smaller and smaller market. They loose the economy of scale and also simply cost more in material to manufacture, they also come with higher development cost that have to be recovered through final sales, before entering the market with bigger more advanced models, they have to have a clear picture of distributions. Dealerships typically in most markets are not brand exclusive, they typically sell a variety of brands

Distribution is typically brand exclusive and often partners to the actual manufacture, in China they cannot really do that, not internationally anyway, They simply do not cover the market demand in propensity with their offerings. They only offer entry level models at this point and are moving up but not to anywhere near enough to fully support a free standing dealerships with enough volume in sales. They do however have more then enough offerings to completely satisfy entry level and or new riders and also the demand for commuter and small displacement demand.

These 250cc models if priced right would sell and there is demand but it has to be aggregated, because fractionally divided it will never survive in the market. They have to ensure that they are available in all regions in all markets, which is mater of finding only one dealer in each market region and in that supplied through one large well managed professional distributor, that manages the distribution and support and marketing of multiple brands.

    Wonjan needs a translator.

The GN250-C, aka Suzuki Volty was evidently listed in Motorcycle Trend Magazine, is that a Chinese publication? One that ripped off another publications name? How do they expect to be respected doing what is considered disrespectful?

Typical is the lack of content, often the articles contain a tribute to something totally immaterial
    http://www.wonjan.cn/articles/1c1/433437272893451.shtml
They also include an image of the bike with its side cover removed….did it have some issues? They offer nothing about the EFI, is it EFI seems that it could be? What is the retail prices and where can they be purchased? Do they need to be told they are selling motorcycles?

Here is Wangjiangs “About Us” good lord it talks about the river and the rising sun!

    http://www.wonjan.cn/aboutus/

They also sell under the brand name Wonlon, they use any brand name to identify their products.
    http://www.wonlon.cn/product/80-i.html
In a way that is advertising for the other brand, give it a model name unrelated to anything else, what is the advantage of using other brand names?

    What makes this model French?
    http://www.wonlon.cn/product/227.html

Why is this a snow sculpture, will it melt in the sun?
    http://www.wonlon.cn/product/249.html

I apologize, but when people call motorcycles space rangers, I suspect drugs are involved.
    http://www.wonjan.cn/articles/11/

I do like the emblem, they post literature though that cannot be read, its to small, is the web developer working on a 52” flat panel? With a big bong and a bag of cheese curls?

Heaven and Earth Rangers….they have gone off the deep end. The people behind all this need to find other work that is more suited for them? Even the images are not of good quality, then there is no technical details at all.
