Hi All,
So I've been reading the threads and am stoked about getting a Heist. I was bummed to find out that the Heist motor no longer is chromed but all black now. All black is cool but the chrome just made it pop. Anyone know when they made this change and if they are going to change it back.

I think they went all black because of rust issues with poor quality chrome but that's a guess- though if you google Tha Heist and rust there's a picture of an owner who had some. Maybe once they start manufacturing here in the US they'll bring the chrome back?? IDK

Why leave well enough alone. After making my forward controls extender, I decided to tweak it a bit more. 1. Make them adjustable and 2. this brings the pegs back a little not just extend them. And again, now you can ride with your foot comfortably in the shifting area without having your foot angle out.

These bikes are highly customizable. You could change the motor if you didn't like it.

Truly just a very happy customer. These guys rock! They went above and beyond in customer service. Also, I picked the bike up on Monday and receive the plates on Friday!

Wow well I was interested in one these bikes but after reading through all 156 pages im sold. I found a dealer in Sacramento (going in the morning), but does anyone know of or used a shop around here for engine performance? Hitting freeway speeds is a must for me, and in California 80 on 65 mph is normal. Advice would be great.

Yes, the website should have a forum that everyone flocks to - but you cannot argue with where the masses want to go, and that is a FB-hosted group, at least for now anyway. The website has collected a good amount of frequently asked questions as well. Plenty of riders willing to talk and discuss all things 'tha Heist' at any time over there:
