02-03-2013, 05:38 AMI'm trying to buy a headgasket for my QH250GY but there are some that are similar. I'm stuck at this: there is a CB and a CG at the site I'm looking at it's China Parts Depot in Canada. On Ebay there is a gasket for the 250 that is for the 167FMM mine is a 169FMM. I ask the people that sell them on Ebay but he said he needed dimensions. I can't take it apart right now to look at the gasket. Anybody know if the 167FMM is compatible with 169FMM? Also can you please tell me if my motorcycle is a CB or CG, I'm thinking CB from the looks of a head that was CG but the gasket that just said Honda clone was the only other gasket he had that might be for CB since he sold the heads.
Thanks,
Stacy

from your old picture, it's the CB (had cam chain) type. This is the chinese gasket http://item.taobao.com/item.htm?id=14248656344 Some CB200 is also 69mm.

China is on that "crazy" (ie. Chinese New Year) mood. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chunyun That shop will be back to to normal at 19 Feb.
Show that page to ur country's chinese bike dealer, they will find something suitable.Last edited by humanbeing; 02-04-2013 at 01:52 PM.

Do you have a picture of your engine because the model 169FMM is the engine Shineray makes, its a 232cc engine.
It also is called a VJ250-1
Is this your engine?

03-08-2013, 08:01 AMThe motor in the picture is very similar, except the crankcase. I took the numbers from the side there are some stars with it too. I was just mostly guessing it was 169FMM because it had that where I was looking at a head gasket that was 167FMM and mine just happens to have that. The valve cover and top of the engine is exact, possibly the cylinder and head. Mine is all dirty and can't remember. Where the spark plug is at, the hole behind it is very similar if not exact. It comes out the front and is near the exhaust port. Mine is leakng oil there. My motor says 250cc on the side somewhere. I remember that.
I'll get some pictures posted in a day or two. I guess the numbers and the sides of the engine. I have a spare that would probly be best for pictures, I can get the whole motor and about any angle, along witrh the stamped 250cc on the side, I think under the cylinder.
