    I admit I'm guilty - this time, I'm off-topic-starter in this topic.

    Where is the moderator?

We are not off topic, YinXiang is a big producer of horizontal engines. It is a niche for them and they are developing it pretty well.

As for who is the OEM factory for Daytona in China, it may be more then one as that is the correct approach to take in China for many reasons.

The first image of the “modern” version of a SS50 Honda as it does have that type engine. XY also makes a 154FMI, but their version starts in neutral.

Through its channel partners YinXiang sell the first bike that are in a way a modern version of a SS50.

I do not think the engine in the SL70 custom is original, it looks like a Lifan 150 or the same type, it definitely does not look like the stock engine.

Which looks like this engine which I think it actually is.

OK, there is the ZS154FMI-2 engine, and then you can see two Zong's with the same markings, but very different design: ZS154FMI-2 with bit more "classic" design, crank mounted manual clutch, no paper oil filter, no oil outputs - http://www.motorbike-shop.de/index.php?a=3147&lang=eng , and there is "contemporary" ZS154FMI-2, with all that, tranny mounted clutch - http://www.motorbike-shop.de/index.php?a=3510&lang=eng

    Madhouse.

Not all claimed Zongshen engines are really genuine Zongshen engines, Zongshen engine numbers look like this = ZS154FMI-2*xxxxxxxx* (X = numbers), all Zongshen engine numbers start with "ZS". The real deal 125cc ZS engine was discontinued 2-3 years ago and they can be easily identified as having 8mm studs and 20mm coarse countershafts. Over in Europe people refer to the discontinued ZS125cc engines sometimes as Zongshen 125cc "Dino" engines.....

As always in PRC, copy engines might be available from dodgy manufacturers......

OK, I learned something new - real Zong 125 has 8 mm studs, 20 mm countershafts. The devil is in the details. Thanks TBR!

It seems to me that I would, in the end, decide to buy 1P56FMJ Lifan engine.

It is interesting that cheap Chinese small bore 50-110 cc horizontals, no matter from which plants originate, high rpm at which they work most of the time and the torture of their owners, reaching a really remarkable mileage. Fifty thousand kilometers is quite attainable figure.

Option for you. I'll have to go to Greece or perhaps Germany, to buy a big bore engine.

I cannot under understand why you cannot order from that website, even though they do not have Serbia listed. Is there a reason you cannot buy from that website?
