Walmart has a Schumacher charger maintainer for around 20 bucks. It has a nice wire connection that you can leave permanently attached to the battery so you can plug it in while it's parked.

Crelow, I would take the time to install a Battery maintainer/charger with a plug in/ install the plug to your battery and then just plug it in when you return from a ride.
I would avoid jumping it unless its a emergency as the battery box has no room for a positive aligator clip to attatch to the termainal without accidently touching the grounded and live battery box. Your battery may be fine still.

Bob Yeh your most likley correct, i guess i would start with one more new flasher to see if that solves your prob.. There still could be a crappy connection somewher that is making your intermitent probs. Best plug is.... D8EA and is NGK Stock number 2120
I also would turn your idle up a bit your bike should run with the choke on without ever touching the throttle and then at half choke and then no choke after abit. Use your choke as your throttle to keep it running. Idle screw is the one on the side of the carb on the side of the bike as you probably know.

Yep Bob beat me by 20 sec on your answer. I actually have that Maintainer its a 1 amp charger so it takes a bit of time to get to full charge.

If you can get the carb tweaked IE: idle and start and warm up the bike with a fresh plug without touching the throttle your plug should stay un fouled. Make sure to gap the new plug.

I am so anxious to ride I can’t stand it. My roads are still covered in ice and slop/yuk
    Forecast looks dismal too

They dont even gap the plug at the factory/ My original was way off. They really do expect the owner to do everything on these china mfg. bikes.

What do you gap the plug at. I have specs in my book but I don't trust it. I'll adjust the idle screw a tad clockwise. I kind of hate to as it idles real nice as it is. I would think is would start better in full choke but it kills it the way it is. When warm it fires right over and purrs.

I'm on my way to get the plug. I need a bunch of stuff for my solar project too. Nice to have so much to keep busy.

Sunny and fifty-five here today, just the last vestiges of the snow piles left.

Just signed up for the safety class. They had one opening left so I lucked out. That's in the middle of May. The next one is in June.

Ordered another flasher. I sent the other one I ordered back like a dummy. That's what I get for being a cheapskate.
