#1 Taklamakan Rally, Extract from the Official Video 200802-24-2009, 01:39 PM
Morfar gave me a DVD with the official Video from last Years Race. Absolutly great! but 1:30 Hours long. I made an Extract to share it with you.
He told us some Day`s ago, that everyone can do it. (Do I remember well? Pott-Belly carrying, old aged Guy......?????)
Now I believe you shouyld be in a good Shape to try it also.
Enjoy!!

Sabine,
Thanks for putting that up! The video looks like a better production than I expected and yeah it looks like you'd need to be in some physical shape (other than round) to run it.
Would it be too much trouble to put the full version into a high quality .MOV file? I can share it on MCM to all interested parties.

#3 Taklamakan Video - long Version02-25-2009, 12:02 AM
I can try it. 1:29 Hours is a lot of GB (!). But if I can do it I dont know how to share it, because, even the .mov file will have much to much MB to send it per Mail.
To post it on Youtube I would have to cut it in ca 14 Parts/9 Min.
do you have any Ideas?www.Sabine-Hartmann.com

The best way to distribute it would be via Bit Torrent. Don't know if you are familiar with it, but it's a great way to share large movie files like this. If I had a copy of the DVD I could rip it and then seed it on bit torrent for a few weeks.
Cheers!
