04-08-2013, 08:59 AMThanks for the pix. Looks like you got yourself a sweet deal. Bike looks great, save for a bit of rust here and there. Love the analog dash. Transmission is a standard one down, four up, right?
I think you'll have some fun on that bike, and your companion cannot find a better bike for learning to ride.
thanks for the vides. That waterfront highway looks like Route 1 along Tomales Bay in California...

04-08-2013, 09:42 AMI used to live down there it runs parallel to our harbour and is actually just a normal road, which I kinda treat as a race track.... haha
http://goo.gl/maps/ZPDtm
The other side is just as good but I dont think I have any videos on that side,
There is also a top road that goes back over I have a video on my old VFR 400 of that one.
And yes standard gear box 1 down four up,
the rust on the chrome isnt too much of a problem, There is however a little bit needing attention on the swing arm but once the bike is running I will sand blast the frame and powder coat it.

04-09-2013, 11:06 AMThank you!
Got some quotes on prices from Keeway New Zealand,
For example a Lock kit was $160..
I just done an order using an Agent via Taobao it has come to $71 but I need to wait for the order to be complete before I get charged freight to NZ but im guessing around $100.
So win win.

had the valve cover off today to check if the valves are actually moving,
They are fine and all working well and the clearances are good.
Also had the carb off and gave it a good clean and the exhaust is off too.
