Thank you for you "helpful inputs". The price is high plus the added traveling expanses. If this service is available in border cities to Hong Kong or Macau, it might work. Also why May 8 or 9th as we most likely won't be in Asia until October.
The dates May ...dont mean you ?? just a email i found some time ago i am sure when you get to HK you should be abel to find someone who can help you sort out the paperwork and arrange for you to sit a "legal test" but you will need to take you test in mainland china that why they talk about Hainan for UK passport holders that is great as we dont need a visa for HK or Hainan so please check to see if you need one the medical is just a eye test it took me 1 day to sort out all the papper work and then i booked in the test day and had my eye tested and sat the test i took the test in a north city called Harbin which the test was set in chinese but my wife chinese come along to help as the question came up she told me what the question said and told me what the answer said as why but me being me right i can do this with no help from my wife i got 88/100 fail shit but the police was nice and said you was so close have a go again so i did my wife wanted to help me but no i said shit 87/100 so i had to book the test again this time the wife sat with me again with the book open checking the correct answers at one time a ploice man walked by and my wife ask him for one of the answers to the question to which he told her this time 98/100 pass but all this did not make me a better driver just made me legal ??

here is a link for you to try test i bet you dont get more then 60% on your first go lol please post

Lets face it, it's not my problem and at the end of the day, who cares about some people that just want to learn the hard way, eh?

In my case the agent was my wife who sorted out all the paper work but has cost me a shit load of money and fuck me my DL looks real to me still dont make me a better driver just legal

    Hi Steve,

Thanks for posting the test, I gone as far as questions #180 and had to stop. I found out that if I were to drive in China, I would be run over by trains, pay way too much in fines and stay too long in jail. LOL Other than that, I didn't do too bad. One thing I take away from the test is how different China and Canada are. The written test in Canada NEVER mentioned fines or jail terms for breaking the law, only safety issues and road etiquette. Ho and RIGHT OF WEIGHT not way!

PS: I have a Chinese name and can spell it but that's about it.
    Must stay wild

I passed my test with 99%. Simply by learning the points I didn't know from my German test.
Here, in this thread nobody is writing who has no driving licence at all. We all can ride a bike/car, know the rules, are responsible people. So, why this bullying? You need an agent help with the paperwork (mine was Fesco), you need someone translating. (Why not the agent or your spouse).

Good test marks 99% some people on this site believe that if you get a agent or a frined to help you pass your DL then it is fake people need help when there come to china and this is what this site is all about good advise but only if you end up with a real DL how you get there in the end does not matter help or no help agent or no agent friend or no friend ??? just get to the end with your real DL well i hope these post help some people

good luck and drive /ride safe

It was more cracking entertaining when you were telling readers how to just pretend that they are deaf and dumb when asked why they have no registration for their motorcycle or when you recommended that they could just use a license of a person that look like them, that’s kind of been swept back with you now only recommending the use of an interpreter to explain the questions on the test since they are in Chinese? Nobody has said that is wrong, I believe most actually found tests that are in English. But the thread was actually about a person just visiting China short-term and the consensus of belief is that you need to be in the country with a residency visa and if on vacation you will not be able to get a license… and then if offered one or if somebody tried to sell you one it would be fake.

In any country you need to be legal to ride, you can easily get on any bike and ride in any country it that simple. But not having a license is illegal and there are repercussions, the test having disclaimers about penalties is likely do to cracking geniuses saying they did not know they had to abide by laws, another cracking genius advised them differently?

    Nice screen name, Diablo?
