Dont feel bad. Mine is starting to deteriorate after one year also but not as bad as yours.

Somebody found a nice leather or sythetic seat cover that fit perfectly a few pages back. I need to find that posting as that is what Im going to do.

LOL! My new wife has a saying from when her niece used to eat dirt. (dont ask).

God made dirt and dirt dont hurt. But rust does LOL. And thats another issue Im dealing with on this bike. But its's all good. Im poor but its paid for so that = some wiggle room financially speaking. Now if I can just win the lottery and buy that damn Triumph or Enfield I have been drooling over LOL.

Which is why I left it on. The popping doesnt bother me. Hell it reminds four wheel folks that Im there and that's not a bad thing. This thing isnt a Harley with a loud straight exhaust so I do want people to hear me since most of them seem to not see me, if you know what I mean. Even this bright orange t-shirt doest help.

Speaking of which, I finally got a chance to ride my bike again today. Felt good but I have to say that I do feel the need for the sprocket change out in my future. This thing feels like it has three 1st gears. It takes off like a dump truck full of manure.

Filled the tank two weeks ago and only got 24miles with it before I had to hit the reservere tank. Ran out just out of my driveway. So I have a fuel leak still somewhere. Odd though because I have no stains on my driveway anywhere. But for right now Im not going to sweat it over $5 worth of premium. Ill deal with that later.

thats odd, a new sprocket is something i thought everyone had done by their 50th post or 500 miles... :> just ordered a 35t myself...

Ive just been starting out in 2nd gear on slight inclines... figure the new sprocket couldn't be that much more of a strain...
