07-30-2013, 09:30 AMJust a thought. I've seen loads of instances with the adrenaline with the kill switch or sidestand stopping the bike from starting. the bike will turn over with the kill switch in but it stops it sparking. I'll lol if if it is the kill switch! Changing the plug would be a good shout though.

07-30-2013, 09:47 AMWell that's good in a way as I'd say that a spark issue would be the easiest thing to fix. Like froz said the kill switch and the "starter safety" circuitry could be at fault so you could be looking in to that while you wait for a new spark plug. If it is something to do with the side stand switch you could either dissconnect it and leave the wires hanging or short the wires together depending on how the switch works, there may also be a safety switch on the clutch lever. However they should prevent the starter motor from working as well while they are active.

Okay then.
I get home tonite, get on the Adrenaline (inside the garage)
Side stand up - Check
Kill switch off- Check
Neutral and clutch in - Check
...........spin - spin - spin, nothing.......
Right push it outside, maybe flooded - try again in ten minutes......
On the Bike again - same checks - same result....
Off the bike - got to move the car so the wife can park.........
I get on again and in frustration I back heel the side stand off - WTF - burst into life.....
I'll cut a long story short. Normally when I release the side stand I follow it up to rest with my foot... The Adrenaline doesn't seem to like this - (well more likely the switch doesn't turn off fully).. result the bike wont start... Kick it back, the bike starts...
YIPPEE!!!
Well needless to say it has had a thorough drenching with WD40 and know works with my gentle side stand release...
So in a very happy mood I go and fill her up - even more happy - my Fuelly saying she's giving me 81.5 mpg (imperial) on this fill up
Thanks for all the pointers guys it helped me out....
Oh! and if it was the kill switch - you wouldn't be reading this post - there wouldn't be one - I would have shot myself....
Peace

Well done.
Too be honest it is really amazing how often that last frustrated effort fixes things, the times you say to yourself "f*ck this" and kick it or push it and it does what it is meant to do, especially true with seven year old daughters and two year old dogs :), never works with girlfriends or wives though, they kick you in the nuts and get you charged.
Glad it's fixed though.

:) just kidding
I just have to look at my daughter the wrong way and she has her finger on the childline speed dial button lol and as far as the wife goes, i can't fight sleep so she would give me a doing anyway.
I am seriously thinking of a digital Speedo upgrade when i get my bike.
