    That made me wonder how many motorcycle end up stolen in the USA and what types of motorcycles and where are they stolen most often.

    I would say the most likely type of bike to get stolen in the USA is a dirt bike and one located in a southern state. Historically off road bikes did not require registration, which only makes it easier to trade them stolen. Theft insurance is very cheap in the USA, liability is what costs the most on insurance policies and the larger the displacement the higher the cost.

    To the best of my knowledge BAJAJ of India never sold any street legal bikes in the USA.
    Them being on the list could actually represent Kawasaki dirt bikes, they may use BAJAJ as an OEM for some of their off road bikes?

    Many States are moving towards registration off Road vehicles, with that theft will likely decrease.
