regarding price for one 2012 DF250RTB_A.

    Attachment 13634
Does not include shipping, customs, port fees ,etc so no big savings.
I also asked for wholesale price on 20 DFs but didn't get that price. Will try again.
Got a response back from the Chinese supplier and it turns out that is the price for ($1100 FOB China) for each DF250RTB_A in quantity of 20. Don't think that price will work to retail the bikes competing with the drop shippers.

    Why not?
    1100 + shipping & Tax comes down to ~$25.000
Add $250 per bike for shipping locally to a home address, (comes down to ~$30k) and you're selling each bike for $1500 if you'd make zero profit on them.
Most drop shippers sell them for $2200 which is double what they paid for it, so they make a buck load of money on each bike (about $700 per bike)!

Those $700 is pure profit. And when customers return their bikes you can easily take one or two of them apart for parts, and sell the stock parts, or use parts of one bike to repair a customer's broken one.

Those $700 per bike more than cover the cost of one fulltime employee and taxes on a larger property (like a garage or hangar or small warehouse) to store these bikes in.

Just installed the baffle and it reduced the exhaust note so that it is not ear splitting at full song.

Had to hack saw off the flared end that goes in first to get it in but it is a nice snug fit with no rattle.

Just passed 1,000 miles(indicated) and she seems to be running better than ever.

Wont this significantly negate the effects of free air flow you accomplished by removing the cat.

Took a ride down to one of the local parks here in RI with a beach front today. Enjoyed the nice weather for sure. She has about 380 miles now.

Funny story... There was a guy in a smart car revving his engine at me at a red light. I thought this was pretty funny.. so I actually just full throttle shifted through the first 4 gears.. until I looked over and he was about 100 feet in front of me...

In case you didn't know.. the Smart-car is the slowest accelerating car available in America as of 2012... not good not good lol. I love this bike.. but man it's embarrassing when people are honking at you for only being able to do 40 miles an hour up an incline on a 50 mph road lol. Today on my ride I had to pull off to the right of the road and turn my flashers on and allow cars to pass.. as the limit goes up to 55 on about a 1 mile stretch of hill... I wont be going that way again.. good thing I had a bandanna over my face.. because it was beat red :p

    Strange,
My Chinese TaoTao EVO150 scooter with CVT goes faster up a bridge than your 229cc motorcycle? You should have upshifted in higher revs.

Also the slowest accelerating car is the Prius C, not the smart, because of the Prius C's higher weight than the smart. The smart actually is kinda peppy, when you rev it high.

I was in 4th gear full throttle.

Smart car diesel takes nearly 30 seconds to reach 60 mph. it is the slowest car in america. The one i raced today can reach 60 in 12-13 seconds
