KTM's shop opens in 3 days in Shanghai!

Just went to see the manager of Joy Motor, as she'll be representing KTM in SH (I think) or at least knows all there is to know about it, here's her contact info.

They were preparing flyers or invitations to what seems to be an opening event..

She did confirm Duke 390 will be built in China and sold around April 2014 for around 50K at this location (they don't have biz card yet):

Sucks for me who just ordered a Z250 for over 40K, but it's ok, I still like better the Z250's style (not sure about specs tho) and I'm in a hurry to get a new bike.

No need to go just yet as I just come back from the expected location of the shop and there's no possible access, it's after the Carrefour on Huqingping, there's a Holyday Inn just next.


PS: there's a nice BMW shop just south of Joymotor which has the new F 800 GS which is a regal for the eyes, and tons of R 1200 GS (dunno if the Adventure model is available), I didn't ask for no price cause the sales girl was pretty and I didn't want her to see me cry).

The sad part is you do occasionally make some good contributions

So what's your point? You get involved in pissing matches like it's a hobby, and have abysmal grammar, punctuation and spelling. You may well be dyslexic, in which case it's not all your fault. On the other hand you are eager to help people when they ask, and make some good contributions to the forum. What Felix said was completely fair.

I know how you feel, I just got an NK.

Both your bikes are fine, IMHO, just different. I'm quite curious about that Z250.

I guess we'll all to have to wait and see whether a bike actually shows up in April, 2014, for 50ish (probably be 59,999.99). I'm also kinda curious about how KTM is doing a M.I.C. bike - I doubt they'd actually build a factory for only two products. I also wonder if it is simply an assembly factory, with maybe the parts coming from India?
