01-08-2014, 10:38 AMI think that most carburetted engines do this unless if they have something called a accelerator pump. When you open the throttle very quickly the engine suddenly sucks in a lot of air through the carburettor and as fuel is a lot denser than air the engine does not suck enough fuel in for all the air it is getting at that moment so the fuel to air mixture leans out, it cannot ignite properly, the engine looses momentum and stalls. An accelerator pump squirts a little bit of extra fuel in to the intake to counteract this problem, unfortunately they seem to be a bit hard to find in this age of fuel injection.

01-09-2014, 12:13 AMAh well in that case richening up the mixture a bit should help with that, I would focus on the idle mixture first. Set the idle speed to about 2000 rpm, adjust the idle mixture to get the best idle speed then adjust the idle speed back to what it's supposed to be. It may help the get the mixture a little rich as this will help with the stalling problem that you are having.
Also check the usual things such as blocked jets and intake leaks.Sinnis Max II (QM125-2V), K157FMI engine (technically a K162FMJ now), 115 main jet, 40 pilot jet, cone air filter, 150cc big bore kit, 17 tooth front sprocket, 30mm carburettor, alarm with remote start, HID spotlights, performance CDI.
