12-26-2013, 01:05 PMIt seems this bike did start its life as CFMOTO 650 and then it had slight modification..... would love to see this one without all of that side plastics if they modified frame or should i say how much...
DUCATI CF 648R

How pathetic. Bikes are for riding, not looking at, shows how shallow some Asians are to feel the need to cheat to be seen to have something exotic. A real Ducati has a V-Twin, you can't fake that feeling with a parallel twin. It looks real, mostly because of the single sided rear wheel, but surely the weight balance tire sizes and wheel base will make the bike inferior to the original 650NK. So a whole heck of work done for no improvement.
Nice to see however that the Vietnamese at least have the good taste to put CFMOTO Corse on the bike so are not really trying to fool the knowledgeable, I think most Chinese would just go 100% fake.

12-27-2013, 01:17 PMI like it. That 648R sticker is tongue-in-cheek humour to me - a bit of an inside joke for those that know enough about bikes. I don't know how much Ducati 848s go for in Vietnam go for but I bet it's a hell of a lot more than what it cost to make that 650NK conversion.

12-27-2013, 02:49 PMTrue real Ducatis in here are worth of cold.. well any bike.. except Chinese ;)
This bike is actually for sale for 8500 usD
but don't think ducati parts for this bike where cheap..
And i think bikes need to look beautiful, why else would you buy some of the parts (tail tidy and rest..) besides, beautiful bikes attract beautiful people ;)

What kind of people do fake bikes attract then?
lol I'm just kidding, I think it's a fun conversion, I'd have used a longer swingarm or shorter tail & exhausts but I can't build for sheet so I'd probably have done nothing at all so: nice bike, I like the color scheme too.
Not sure I'd spend 8.5K USD in there tho, unless u throw a ride on top of, hmm, i mean a ride with that girl in the deal..Le siècle ou nous vivons est un siècle pourri. - Tout n'est que lâcheté, bassesse, - Les plus grands assassins vont aux plus grandes messes - Et sont des plus grands rois les plus grands favoris. - Hommage de l'auteur à ceux qui l'ont compris, - Et merde aux autres.

Whoever designed and fabricated that, they should sell it as a kit on taobao. That'd be a huge success. I'm interested in the swing arm conversion. And those front forks too. I want them.
