Once I get a bike, I will be thinking about getting a sidecar for my dog. I would like to take him with me on some of the shorter trips I do instead of putting him in kennels!!
I am looking at getting a Zongshen, but if this is not compatible with a sidecar I think I might get something else? Any suggestions?

You will need the correct driver license endorsement to ride a sidecar. That means a D class, rather than the E class which is a motorcycle. If a manufacturer does not make and certify a sidecar then it is almost impossible to just buy a bike and add a sidecar to it, and expect for the altered bike now sidecar to be legal or comply with regulations.
There are few legal sidecars made in China. There is the infamous CJ750 Chiangjiang which I would advise you to stay away from. The other is the JH600 Jialing, worth looking at if you a real passion for a sidecar etc.
