il mio cattivo italiano non importa.

The intake on the 450 it is in front...is that because it is half of the L-Twin? Then also of course the exhaust she come out the back...

We can see the cam belt housing, it is all very interesting.

No, it is because Umberto Borile is fruit cake.

Unusual, but, IMO, only possible solution (with "Pompone's" parts; oh my, single "Ducati" cylinder makes this bike "Semi-Pompone"... or "Pomponino" ) which doesn't increase price of already pricey bike.

I personally would like more to see this engine with only front cylinder, that is, in "horizontal layout", but...
Ask me nothing - I DO NOT speak english. Really...

You should inquire for it, they likely have no use for the other half.

I'm sure that Borile family gets only rear cylinders from "Ducati". There is no need to chop whole L-twin.

Here is an article on the 450, says it sells for 12.5 Euro in Italy.

If they are sourcing an engine from Loncin, they may be considering bringing the 450cc single to mass production there? In that they could greatly lower the retail prices.

My thought was the cam belt housing should be black, it is on this one.
Expensive bike, they could get the engines made in china, that would cut allot of the cost.

You can not use words "mass production" and "Borile" (same as more than dozen Italian motorcycle makers - "Ghezzi & Brian", "Magni", "Vyrus", "Paton", "Vertemati"...) in the same sentence.

The Loncin engine they are using is, so is the engine in the multi they make. They may have them make some of the components for that engine as well. They won’t though, they are likely content with small volume sales and higher prices. The retail prices of the GM engines these use are as much as the new 300 model bike, more actually.

Vertemati was the source of the Benelli BX449, they ended that in 2008/2009.
