Yamaha is offering their YZF-R3 here, its a 321cc twin for $5,000.00
There is quite few offerings now for entry level bikes, it will be interesting to see how these Benelli are priced and who ends up selling them, if dealer will pick them up or not.

SSR should consider selling the Qingqi 250cc singles, they could drop the Pioneer versions. They should consider selling the Sinnis models.
They should retain SSR Brand for the off-road vehicles.
See if they can get a license for the Sinnis Brand and offer the 250cc models.
Then they should seek a contract with Znen for some scooters that are patented designs.
Then offer a line of scooters under the Znen brand.
In that each should have its own website, websites that follow the standard design themes of the Manufacturer/Brand.
They need to have a full line that is dedicated to retail dealers, not sold online.
They will have to have that for the Benelli, they should also consider see if they can also get those same dealers to pick up the Suzuki based 250cc singles.

These being imported to the USA without service manuals is a mistake. If there are service manuals then you better make sure the dealers you approach are shown them and also what system of part support you will be using and also how warranty claims will be processed. Who is the expert on these, who is the engineer behind them the person that knows them inside out? That person should be here first to manage a launch, to set up the technical training of technician in each dealership.
The training is not just on the servicing and repairs, it’s on the system used to order parts as well as process any warranty claims.
Unfortunately QJ is not serious about the US market, if they were the full line of Benelli would be coming and the effort to set up dealerships much more comprehensive. In that it is about spending money to make money.
If you do not succeed then you make changes, you do not leave, the market is real it exists it’s just that you have to do the work to develop it. It is only part advertising…you have to study the markets and the layers within it.
