Ok, yesterday I did it, I ordered a brand new red Jawa 350 Style. I saw the day before the first time myself Jawa Chopper, and I liked of what I saw, a sturdy machine.

I pay € of it. We have those EU restrictions, but the man called Simpane bought helluva lot of Jawas before they forced the regulations in 2003, and registered them, so that he can sell them later on. Once registered the fuckers can't recall the bikes. Thus I buy a brand new year 2003 model Jawa, with all rubber in it hardened to stone
No matter! I am very happy even though I wont get a Jawa Girl with my green and too new Jawa You wont attract women with a Jawa
Will be interesting to make first hand observations on what kind of bike the legendary Jawa is. It is at least built like a tank, or, no, it is built like a Zetor
If it is at all like MZ, then I will be very happy with my Jawa. When I had MZ I dreamed of Jawa – really – because I wanted a bigger two stroke. I have read a thread made by a Finnish man who had both MZ and Jawa, and in the end he appeared to prefer Jawa. Poor MZ! Lost in evolution of bikes to Jawa, but lo, Jawa lives!

I think it should be possible because they apparently still build brand new Jawas in Europe, which is a miracle to say the least! In England they even can sell brand new Jawas right from the factory, those machines have electric starter and a new digital speedo meter. Other than that they appear to be Type 640 variants. I saw a picture of Jawa Retro in a Jawa meeting in Finland, and it looked like it has been not driven to Finland by an Englander, so supposedly someone has managed to register truly new Jawa in Finland (I don't think he has just bought the tank and saddle etc. and installed those onto old Jawa).. I really don't know what is happening in EU regarding Jawas, but I would like to know. Anyway, the best thing is that there is a brand and model with Heritage available other than Royal Enfield and Ural. I like them bikes when they are not short star flights on the Earth but prevailed during the test of time!
Below is the picture of Jawa Retro in Finland

Here a direct link to the picture, so that all of it can be seen: http://jawasakki.kuvat.fi/kuvat/Jawa...5/IMG_6339.JPG
Edit: Oh, a new front disk brake is in that too when compared to original Type 640.

Jawa 350 TS is in my opinion the best design of Jawa. The true no non-sense workhorse spirit of Jawa stands out of it like a thunderous flash in the midnight! A bike wont be much more into the raw business than 350 TS Jawa.
