TVS has a new website.
Not sure what their partnership with BMW will bring about....
Maybe the introduction of TVS dirt bikes?

We may see some of the 250cc –500cc BMW/TVS models on display in Milan this November. We can certainly expect to see the new TVS 200-250cc offerings.
TVS Draken concept…

Eeew, that 300cc BMW totally ruins the reputation of BMW in my eyes. Such a shame! I wonder what kind of china crap it is disguised as BMW! On the other hand....maybe an affordable BMW
By the way, this established MC brands pushing affordable models to markets is not a bad opener by them to counter the onslaught of china bikes in the Bike Wars :D

If you could live with F and G series, with their chain drive, you'll survive even those small caliber BMWs.
Ask me nothing - I DO NOT speak english. Really...

Well, I am happy with the Jawa. If I would buy something else, that would be most probably either Ural or Peugeot Django. Ural would be the New Way, Django would be for minimum budged motorcycling with more than 125cc. I want to spend as little as possible on a bike. In fact, I am very curious of what bike (> 125 cc) would be the most cheap to maintain when all costs are counted, that is, the price when ordered a new, fuel with 20 000 km / year, traffic insurance, and repairing costs.

BMW did make shaft drive 250cc singles at one point, they do not capitalize on the low cost manufacturing in any big way other then the higher profit. I am not saying that they should bring these back to life, though they could spend more on R&D if the products are being made in low cost manufacturing regions. Otherwise we are only getting another version of what already exists in so many other forms.
R25-R27, they sold lots of these in Europe.
