Seems that CFMOTO has a new model a 399cc Twin they are calling it their NK400.
Trade mark blue,
Not sure how well it would sell in the EU suggested MSRP at 4395 maybe South America?
4,395.00 EUR = 4,904.34 USD
Looks a bit like a KTM Duke and that is no suprise as its a Kiska design, however its a 45hp twin.Last edited by MJH; 03-25-2016 at 05:37 AM.

The Kawasaki Z300 sells for 5,500 EUR, the NK400 compares to that well, if it’s not too heavy. The BMW has not been priced yet. `

I am not surprised considering CFMOTO now Assembles the KTM bikes here in China. I am surprised it does not look even more like the Duke. It also resembles the new BMW g300 though. Someone buy it and tell us what it is like. It does not look like they were weight conscious when building it. It looks like it weighs a ton. Anyone found some specs?

Like the Ninja 400 sold in Japan, Kawasaki does not sell the 650 or 300 modles in Japan, CFMOTO might offer the NK400 in every market. Ducati is offering a sleeved downed 400cc version of its Scrambler in most every market.

This is all I could get out of Chinese websites and crap translation:
"NK 400 liquid-cooled, 8-valve parallel twin-cylinder 399.3 cc. 38 mm. equipped with a gas housing and the second injection marelli 9000 d / d at 45 hp. power can reach 6-speed motor structure. cfmoto NK400 in the brake system, 300 mm on the front wheels. hydraulic cooling channel dual disc, 240 mm at the rear wheels. cooling channels using hydraulic disc brakes, high-level ease of use and short distance from the high braking capability is provided."
I am most interested in what the weight settles in at. I like the color scheme!“I have never been lost, but I will admit to being confused for several weeks"

At 45bhp would fit into the EU A2 category, For Japan they have stricter license categories which caused the arms race of the 4 cylinder 250's and 400 of the late 80's and early 90's. The 300 isn't sold as it's smaller than a 400 and only just faster than a 250.
Under Japanese rules 53bhp is the maximum for a 400cc bike so this NK400 is either tuned to meet EU limits more or it's lower powered in comparison to the ER-4N and Ninja 400 in Japan.
It'll be the same weight as the 650 so look at the weight for the current one It'll only be +/- a little in weight.2009-2011 Yamaha Jog RR

The 400 ninja is rated the same as the NK400, 44hp it is for sure for the UK as a new A2 offering. It will likely show up in 2017 as a WK with ABS.
Visor Down has regualtions wrong in this article.
http://www.visordown.com/learners/a2...ned/22034.html
Here is the new rules,
https://www.gov.uk/guidance/the-high...e-requirements
They raised the limit age to 24 from 21 for unrestricted, making bikes between 11kw(125cc limit) and under 35kw the A2 class. To be unrestricted you must be over 21 with two years in A2 or over 24, so it will drive the 250 to 400 class sales.
